Default Signum Brake pedal -what does yours do?

Can someone try this on their car, please? Not sure if we have a fault or not.
After having new pads fitted all round on the (pre-facelift 2004 3.0 CDTi Elite), I noticed something odd with the brake pedal.
With the engine off, the pedal is solid.
With the engine running, it's initially solid, but a good steady pressure on the pedal sees it sink slowly towards the floor. It's not losing fluid, so something must be going on with the servo.
The brakes work perfectly well when you're driving, and give no cause for alarm, but it just seems a bit odd.
I'll be interested to see what other folks find.

    Thanks, Phil

Perfectly normal, the vacuum only works when the engine is running hence why its hard when the engine is off.

As said, normal. You get pedal creep with diesels.

Aha, I hadn't seen that one.
Thanks, Dave, I'm happy now. I was worried because the wife drives the car more than I do, and it was worrying me.

Also used as a test to see if servo is working i.e with ignition off pump pedal until hard, keep pressure applied then start car and the pedal should be felt to sink, if this happens then servo is working.
