Default What do you Think, yellow callipers?

Hi I'm still a bit new to this..... What do you think about my yellow calliper job? (Cleaned them all up with a wire brush and a white spirit bath before painting).
I have done the air box mod off one of the threads and have still loads to do to get to the standards of the rest of you, but I suppose I have to start somewhere! All help welcome.
As you can see She needs a bit TLC. Only had her a year.

    New wheels and discs next...

    So Far.
New shocks and springs, Shark fin, Opel front grill + Steering wheel rear badge & Air box mod.

smooth Hammerite. I used a 1" brush for the first coat and then a fine artists brush for the last coat and the little nooks n crannies. I'll probably do the back half when I change the disc's n pads.

Looks good mate, hammerite is just as good as any of those expensive caliper paints imo

Looks good mate. I used Halfords caliper paint, I strongly advise anyone and everyone NOT to use Halfords stuff. It didn't dry well, its like water so runs off with the smallest of layers and when it gets hot it softens and runs. So I have one Yellow and the rest stock. I'll be finishing the job with Hammerite thats for sure.

Just to let you know when you using the yellow hammerite the first coat gets a green tint to it. Its off any carbon dust that's left. The second coat stays bright yellow.
