    Default Nice one Arnold!

In my "Hello again" post, I stated that my new Vectra had a few problems.

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106917

Uncle Arnold (Clark, Motherwell) fixed all the issues I had with the car, including fitting a new clutch assembly unit and flywheel.
Have to take the car back in again next week as the Air Conditioning isn't working (blowing hot air), so hopefully that will be sorted also.
Quite surprised that they did all they were asked, but i'm happy anyway. I'm not going to post in the good dealers section until I see how this matter is dealt with. Fingers crossed.

From someone who used to work in sales at AC, I would NEVER, EVER buy a car from them. Not even a brand new one.

The customer care is the worst ever, I am suprised to hear they have done what you wanted them to do.

Anyways, hope all works out and you get the A/C fixed too.

*EDIT* Just read the other thread, they did all that work because they claimed it back from the warranty company (AutoCare IIRC). It wouldn't have cost them a penny but the £400 you paid for it has already saved you the money for the clutch and flywheel. Worthwhile investment there

i was ready to smack the service guy at arnold clark when i brought my megane, he tried to say nothink was wrong with the car when the same day they took it to renault for me because i wasnt happy (it went back 5 times to AC for the same thing) and renault said my engine mounts had gone and needed changing urgent, but no the guy at AC thought he new best and said they dont need doing we have checked them, at that point i was kicking off so spoke to the general manager and this is what i said, i have documents of proof to say the engine mounts are faulty, these where the words he said "i trust my mechanics so on this case we wont be fixing your car" 1 letter later to the garage stating trading standards will be dealing with the case i get a phone call from the same guy who said we contacted renault who said there is a fault with your car so your right there was a fault, and as for there customer service, they dont have any customer service in the eyes of ARNOLD CLARK they think are always right, the amount of bull **** they tell you is unbelieveable, best thing was when i took the car back there was 3 other people in the service part argueing with the staff saying its been back so many thimes and you still aint fixed it,

ive learnt alot since them 2 years with cars manly due to this site

IVE HAD MY SAY LOL TIME TO GET BACK ON TO THE MAIN THREAD HERE LOL

Totally agree and I hope they do the same with the air con. Booked in for a week on wednesday, still well within the 30 day warranty. I'll let you know how I get on...
