it takes about 2 hours to dry if i remember from doing mine but 16 hours between coats(no dout i will be proven wrong)
I did mine using hammerite smooth and did one side of car in a day. That included good clean with alloy wheel cleaner and wire brush and 2 coats of hammerite fornt and back. Waited couple of hours in between coats and put wheel back on whilst 2nd coat drying being extremely careful not to touch the caliper. Did mine silver..looks nice
I did mine silver i slapped it on quite thick, took about 12hours to dry in total with the help of a hair dryer every now and then but that was in the rain lol
was touch dry in about 3hours though but not quite hard enough for driving, best to leave overnight or put wheels back on but dont move the car more than 300yds
I did two coats on mine and left 15mins between coats, the paints still on them so that'll do me lol
I then left the car over night before driving again
Dont know why people use hammerite as its a horrible paint. Takes ages to dry and shows age quickly. I always use plasticoat as you can spray it on and its dry within 15 mins and does loose its look. Always stays clean looking. Bit of news paper and some masking tape the spray it on. Covers better too as spray gets into all the little places.
