Default Did the Airbox mod, BUT!!

I just did the Airbox-mod on my 2008 Vectra CDTI 150 hp and installed a K&N-filter element too, but when I started up, the Exhaust-light in the dash stayed on.. I then realized that I forgot to connect the wire-loom. I got out of the car and did this, but I didn't turn off the engine. The light was still on. I tried to turn off the engine and when I started it again the light was still on.. What do I do now????????

em lights stay on for a set number of starts after a signal - try starting the car 20 times see if it clears. I would say connecting it with the engine running is risky.

    Default Yeah

I know that what was stupid.. I can see that the car uses more fuel than before too... I think I'll try to disconnect the battery to see if it resets...

Was going to say disconnecting the battery should work but now I'm going to have to do it myself because I'm STUPID!

I put the key in the ignition and turned to ON so the kids could use the DVD player and watch something while I did the K&N filter and never thought the car would be reading the sensors so did the change now I have the EM light on!!!

Car drives fine so will d/c battery later if fault doesn't go on its own. Seems to pull slightly better too from low revs but maybe that's a placebo effect because I expect it to be better!
