    Default bumber mishaped due to diesel spillage

    has anyone else had the rear bumper distort in shape due to diesel spillage, on the vec c. and is there a warranty issue with this problem.
    i.e. bad design materials used in close proximity to filler cap.
    any help appreciated.

    Not had that issue, but the top-coat of paint sealant has started to peel off a little on the top edge of the rear bumper, right underneath the filler cap, so I'm assuming that repeated spillages of diesel (only 2 by me) have eaten their way in...

    Default bumper

    no problem with the paint , just that the panel has become mis-shaped, dealer said it is down to fuel spillage, crazy eh on a 12 montrh old car.
