Default Help with pick up points for turbo boost and oil pressure guages

    Guys

I've fitted a turbo boost and oil pressure guage to my 2007 Vectra 3.0 CDTI (184) and wanted to know the where pick up points for the sensors are.

    Can anyone advise?

    Regards

    Brian

boost presh you will have to drill / tap into a pipe / intake manifold .........oil presh is a real problem the oil presh switch is on the lower part of the engine near the bottom pulley i would say there bay a lot of room for a sensor .......

Boost not a problem , any vacuum pipe around the inlet manifold area but would need to see what type sensor and fittings you have for oil gauge as I dont think you can fit a sandwich plate to the vectra

vacuum pipe no good ....beeing that it would have a vac and not the boost he is looking for ...... there no small bore pipes on a 3.0 you need to tap into a larger pipe / inlet system after the turbo ....

I fitted one on an audi and tapped into the manifold think I used 1/8" bsp tap and a bit of permabond to seal the thread.

    Ok Guys

Thanks for all the posts on this. I'll attempt the boost gauge first and feedback.
