Might be worth as a precautionary measure to check fluid level mate.

The one under / behind the bumper mate ******, awkward to get to, what I end up doing is removing inner wheel arch protector screws , pull protector back a bit and unscrew reservoir cap and using e.g a white plastic tie wrap I dip it in to get a rough idea of where the level is as it seems to be hard to see the level from outside the bottle due to it's sort of creamy colour. Sounds like it mate and I think you're right on the colour as it's not your standard power steering/ automatic transmission fluid stuff, so would suggest getting correct fluid from VX, incidently was it defo the bottle on the left side/ below airbox when looking from front of car you were looking at?

when does the light come on when its below min or just higher than min???? or is it one of them where its half way and its just telling you to check it?? can i do the test with the pedals to see if it gives a fault code or is that just for the EML light?

I would have thought when it's at min or below, if it's just a fluid problem then I suspect there might not be any codes present, bit like if the washer bottle is low on fluid .

Not sure why that came on as well, unless there is another issue going on, there is a possiblity of it being something to do with the abs as this is linked with the TC, might be worth checking that the abs connector is pushed home properly and /or giving the connector a clean and refitting.
