    Default thought i had found the car i was looking for

    if its to good to be true it probably is....
    i was ready to set of to rotherham today to buy this car http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...01013356053568
    thought i would do a hpi check , it came back as a cat d write off, seller did not disclose this information,

    hope some poor ****** does not get landed with it

    beutifull car though

    That really makes me laugh, they say they wont insure a cat d, but there quite happy to catagorise there own claims as cat c and d, to get a better return for themselves, if they wont insure them, list them all as cat b then so they cant come back on the road, insurance companys, law unto them selves....

    Cat C/D cars aren't that hard to insure though. Swinton and Chris Knott will insure them and proabably a few more.

    It should still be advertised as Cat D though, if you were to find out after you had bought it you will still have comeback as its false advertising

    Adrian Flux will also insure Cat D cars but agreed, the seller should disclose it's been a write off...
