    Default how many m,p,g does your car do??

    just thought i would ask this as i once had a 1.9 150 bhp that did 50 mpg now i have a 1.8 vvti and went to vist my daughters yesterday they live 30 miles away so 60 miles return journey i was flabergasted to check and found it managed 47 mpg am well happy so what is yours doing???????

    47 .3 and thats no where near any motorways 150 sri.

    On my 1.8 i get about 37mpg around town and about 42mpg on a long journey,not bad considering the size of the vectra and its done 116k............

    to get my 47mpg i must admit i didnt go over 60mph i used cruise control and it was very hard not to put my foot down. the price of a litre of fuel am gonna be doing it a lot, steady driving from now on???????? ha Lol

    SRi 150 CDTi, not sure locally but 52-55mpg motorway depending on speed cruise set at.
    Dealer said use cruise as much as possible as it makes a big difference, whatever speed you set it on. Handy for speed camera sections!

    Im only getting 16mpg and thats a mix of clear a+b roads and motorway
