Default Still only managed half a job :(

I thought great my wages went in, the weather looks to be great and im not in work til 4.

So i set off to Halfords and ended up spending £94.

Although tbh £35 was on a rotary polisher.

Plus Autoglym sealent, megs clay kit, mer polish, some microfibres and a shamoi. Oh and a very berry air freshner.

So i kind of snow foamed it, then jet washed it off, 2 bucket method and another jet wash. Shamoi dried and then clayed. Then 2 bucket again, jet wash and shamoi.

Then i polished it although im not really too good at it im unsure of the correct pads, methods etc. But it was getting on and only managed the bonnet and NS front wing. Then sealed it with autoglym and buffed over with a microfibre?

Here it is, not too bad for a silver car i guess.

    A shamoi

Use a drying towel or some MF's to dry the car as a shamoi will rub any left over dirt over the paing leaving swirls etc.

    Looks good though
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Lesson learnt

I had to use T-cut because i have some scratches by my drivers door handles but as i didn't get that far i would be using Mer something or other. Part of the 3for2 in Halfords.

I got Autoglym sleaent, megs clay set and Mer polish

omg - shamoi - do you mean chamois???

a polisher from halfords, come on man - give yourself a smack.....lol

go to cleanyourcar and get some proper stuff - it maybe too late but try to get your money back....lol

also - no need to dry before you clay, the water will help lube the car.

What product did you use on the tyres? They look really clean & well dressed without having that nasty shine.

you need some zaino Z16, you apply it once for a semi gloss finish and again if you want gloss.
