    Default Auto Glym Help

    Hi

There is 3 for 2 on all cleaning products at Halfords at the moment so I went down and got some Auto Glym stuff as it was the best that i could afford
Going to give the beast a good “detail” this weekend, im a novice in this field but I bought some Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine Car Polish

but it says “for Modern paint and dark colour cars” however mine is a silver so its not dark, will I damage my paint if I use it?

    Thanks In advance :-)

    Ah cheers,
i was a little worried it was going to strip my paint of or something as i didnt know if it was specifically for dark colour cars but I suppose that the "modern paint" reference covers lighter colour cars as well

As said it'll be fine mate, the UDS works well for an off the shelf product and will add a new dimension to your silver paint

As above it will be fine, i would put at least 2 coats of it on to give a better look. I usually do 3 with any of my polishes

Cool thanks for the tip , this is what i planned to do
    1 .Rinse
    2. Apply tar remover
    3. Rinse again
    4. Shampoo
    5. Rinse again
    6 Polish x2
    7 Wax

for a novice that should pretty much do it lol
