    Question What size tyres

    If i bought some 18" wheels what size tyres would i have to put on the rims for them to keep the same diameter etc

    sorry for the stupid question guys but i dont have a scooby

    I have 225/40/18 on mine, speedo is still fairly accurate (against sat nav) and they're a darn sight cheaper than the 45's Vx recommend.

    Are you after the Astra VXR ones Bainie just posted in the eBay section?

    atleast you could sell your SRi alloys and get some of your money back, or just keep them for the winter months.

    as spikey says they are cheaper

    i paid £120 fitted for a pair of kumo's 225/40/18

    have you had any bother with them? i got a vibration which is slowly easing as they get worn in a bit, had them balanced 3 times so i reckon its the tyres

    had a problem with the car pulling to the left

    vx spent 2 hours doing the tracking then swoped the tyres from the back to the front and solved the problem
