Depends what the job is.... If the job is cleaning the car inside and out and polishing the paint and making it look all shiney and new, then I would say no, that wont do the job.... if on the other hand the job is plugging something into the tech2 port, that looks a little dodgy and probably wont tell you a lot, I would say YES, that would be perfect for the job!!!!
Sorry mate... in a cheeky mood and couldn't resist.
I would be very suspicious of that kind of kit.... just how much use would it be?
well not sure. but probably cheaper than taking it down the dealers if i want dsommat checking out.
You blinkin' bobbies - your're all the same ( my dad is ex plod and he's a right pita at times...)

That looks to me like the plug/adaptor to convert to a serial or parralell cable which you then plug into a lappy or PC. It doesn't seem to have a display to read the codes on.
So if that's what you're looking for then yes it'll probably do the trick, but (sorry Jamie) if you're looking for something to cook your chips in it'll probably be lacking in a few departments
that's not what a full tech2 setup looks like folks.. like spikey says there's no LCD display to show the codes..But it does say CANBUS compatible..
