Only one is specified by Fiat but good results have been had by members after fitting both - all down to choice but you may as well do both while the egr is off

I've only fitted the big one & my local Fiat agent wants a minimum order of 10 gaskets so I'll be making the oval one myself as soon as I get round to it. The gasket helps to keep the cr@p out of the egr & the engine pulls better from low revs with it fitted

I have both fitted, no problems. Been checking the build-up behind the oval one periodically and there has been none. Get 'em both on.

Not massively, but its not really about that, its keeping the soot build-up down to a minimum.

    Kev,
I'm in Nottingham too and need to do my inlet manifold. Which Fiat dealer did you go to for the gaskets? Are you changing the manifold yourself or getting a garage to do it? Have you had any quotes from anywhere?

    Andy
