    Default egr valve z19dth .

hello guys have noticed a lot of people using fiat blanking gaskets for egr i've had 3 valves on my 150 in a year was speaking to vauxhall tech today about this they advised not to use these gaskets because of other problems can occur because fiat run different software to vauxhall and when they fit them gaskets they change software to reduce flow but vauxhall wont update there's. was told that when new egr is fitted ecu should have air flow sensor reset because it learns pos for egr feedback threw the air flow reading if its not reset it takes old reading which can afffect egr

Pardon my French but sounds like a load of **** to me, new EGRs go straight on with nothing else needed. Fiat don't update any software when they fit the gaskets, neither do Alfa.

the only problem you May have fitting this gasket and some have, you may get eml light on if your software is up to date!, and i would say yours would be, mine isnt and have no probs, buy one from fiat its only £4 ish and fit it your self, saving the old gasket to refit if it dont work.
