Default So how good are these Parrot kits?

I currently have a Kenwood double din stereo with ipod connection but the display has died

So I was thinking about putting the original cdr2005 back in with a parrot kit and then possibly upgrading to a 2013 nav with cid.

Is the sound quality really good and I mean crystal clear, how well does the bluetooth work and has anyone had any problems with theirs?

If they aren't that good I may fit a new kenwood with sat nav but they cost quite a bit and don't look factory

    John,

the mki series with ipod/phone connectivity work well
the sound is crystal clear and there are regular firmware updates as required on the parrot website -
    choice of 3 units
    mki9000 - no display
    mki9100 - oled blue 2 line display
mki9200 full colour display with album artwork etc

i have the basic one as i got it PRIOR to getting an iphone/pod as i wanted a decent bluetooth car kit - i bought 3 in total as they were soo good - fitted one in the wifes car and another in my dad's as well

    hth

    regards

Cheers guys, it was the Mki9200 I was thinking about as I like a bit of colour on my dash

How is the ipod controlled? via the parrot or direct on the ipod?

yep controlled via the parrot - track selection etc all from the remote control = or as andy said you can fit the songs onto a memory card then you dont need to worry about taking the iphone/pod in/out all the time

although you can remove the screen on the mki9200
