    Default Central locking timeout

Hi after painting the back of my key silver did'nt like it so bought a another key from fle bay just the shell and swaped over the innards of my old key, it also came with the opel key badge . Now dont know if the car has always done this. in the manual it does say that if you use the central locking in a short intervals the power supply is cut off for a brief period of time, so to test the key i unlocked car and then locked it and did the same again but i left my phone in the car so went to unlock it again 3 time and it would't open, had to put key into lock open door with alarm sounding and put key into ignition to stop alarm. Any suggestions, whats going on ?

That normally happens when the fob goes out of sync with the car,try this, get in the car and put the key in the ignition, turn it to position 2 and then press the lock/un lock button on the fob to reset it,thats how you re-sync it on the vectra b anyway.

the key will go into anti scan to prevent would be criminals from taking your codes to nick your motor after repeated presses of the button
if you waited for another minute then the remote central locking will come back online .....
regarding the alarm going off - thats normal as it was locked on the remote and expects to be opened on the remote -not manually via the key

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

dosn't work on the vectra c it's done by unlocking car with key and that resync key, think i have found the problem all seems good so far. I must have bent the metal contacts for the battery, bent them back up and working so far.
