Default Santa Pod is so sticky !!

Following on from this thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106281

You know how people often say how slippery Santa Pod is on the start line... and how its so easy to spin the wheels, just about everyone complains about it..

Well, when I did the photoshoot the other week the cars were positioned halfway down the track... we were walking about and positioning cars etc and its SO sticky down there... everyone who stood still for half a minute just stuck to the track.. even the cars made a loud noise when trying to move from a standstill. It suprised us all, just thought I'd say

Took some pictures of the surface down the track as well.

The track has a layer of rubber over it and a load of chemicals they spray on it so it is well sticky. On damp humid days you get a little dampness on the surface so makes it a little slippy. Guess it depends when you go down there to the stickiness value lol.

Interesting considering the weekend before there were 4 crashes on the strip and complaints made about the track
