    Default spraying lip spoiler

    just purchased a lip spoiler for my elite however it is silver going to have a go at doing it myself but could someone guide me how to prepare it from silver so i can spray it black please

    If the spoiler is in good condition to start with.
    I would give it a light rub over with a very fine grade of sandpaper / scothbrite.
    Don't prime it use the silver as your base coat.
    Clean it using white spirit.
    Spray.

    Post some pics up when you get it done

    Put the paint and laquer in hot water for 10mins before spraying, you,ll get a far smoother finish and even coverage. Do the same with the laquer but try to leave the spoiler somewhere indoors in direct sunlight before you spray so its nice and warm and place it back once sprayed so it "Bakes"
