    hi,

i know this subject about the clutch judder when pulling away has been

on here loads of times before, but this is really driving me crazy.

does anybody know what parts to fit that will cure this???

ive fitted a new cluch kit but it still judders..... would changing the

flywheel help???? i know ill need to pay for it as the cars out of warranty

and vauxhall seem to think its only my car that has this fault as they say

they havent heard of it before....

surely there must be a fix for this????

    any help would be great.....

New clutch should have fixed it really, are you sure you got no grease, oil etc on it when you changed it? Mine does it all the time too, you can't pull away smoothly with it!

there is a fix for other models with z16xep engine it is to replace flywheel and clutch together .corsa d suffers from judder as well they say its down to the material they use now .the only way to fix yours would be to do the lot again not cheap tho..

They have done, VX are fully aware of the problem with the 1.8vvt clutch judder. Unfortunately the man who knows who's buttons to press about this is no longer on the forum

can i ask, do you have the judder all the time, or does it disappear when the engines reached normal operating temperature?

i only ask as i have had judder, albeit slight, on my 2004 1.8 (non vvt) which ive had from it being 15 months old. It goes away once everythings warm. i dont get any judder in the summer months either.

have you checked the engine & gearbox mounts? might be cheaper & easier to eliminate them before taking the expensive route of replacing the flywheel if that doesn't sort it & you later find its the mounts.

    confused Judder

ive got an 06 sri 1.8vvt, mine judders when cold but at normal temperature it seems to subside, not fully but it gets better, I contacted VX again like everyone says they dont wanna know, *******s! They told me to book it in and they will have a look, I asked and who pays for the inspection and guess what they said "YOU" Think I will get shut. Good Luck!
