Bit worried, might be over nothing!

I bought the car bought 3 weeks ago, since I have replaced the alternator and bought a new battery. Over the 3 weeks, the engine has started to vibrate more and more. When the car came out of the garage last week, the mechanic said the clutch was sounding funny. When the clutch is 1/3 pressed, it vibrates so much and sounds a lot louder. Also, today I've started to hear a rattle. Don't know whether it is in the engine itself or around the engine bay? I would really appreciate anyones help and if someone has experienced any of this before?

Sounds a bit like the dual mass flywheel could be giving up

Definetly the DMF as above, looks as if whoever the previous owner was got rid of the car as it was going to cost them money

i bought the car (56 plate) with 68800 miles on it. I am naturally hard on accelerator and brakes and the clock now reads 70500. Do you think it might be my driving style that is ruining my car?

thats all the way up in cardiff, thats the only problem. the 30 day guarantee that a garage provides will end soon. Bought this on 11/12th march I think. Don't know if i will be able to get up there before then. Do i still have a chance to find my corner?

it may be awkward to get there, but it will be cheaper... surely all those things that have replaced so far are also covered by the guarantee, if the DMF (dual mass flywheel) is on its way out you are spend around £750 to sort it, Vauxhall want £1k for parts alone if you go to them... Go back to Cardiff mate and have your problems recorded and agreed before you 30 days is up, if you can't get to him them call him asap and say you will be down soon but you are worried that the car will not make there and play on it...

i rang him the other day when the alternator had gone and just said to him, if there are any untoward costs/repairs, that he may be liable because of the 30 day guarantee and he was mugging me off. I'm only 22 yrs old and haven't got years of experience of how to blag people. He just infuriates me so much with all his bu115h1t. if anyone lives near cardiff and wouldn't mind coming with me this weekend, that would really be appreciated!

I wouldnt think its your driving, Ive replaced 2 in zafiras this past month, one had 39k on the clock and the other has 24k, They are just crap!!!
