Tech2 & advice time at Evans Halshaw tomorrow

My Vec Estate is off to the ever helpfull EH at Saltash tomorrow for a tech2 to resolve the car & spanner light and to advise me on the DMF rattle I'm sure that the car has...
I haven't used the car for a few days and the rattle has disappeared...marvellous eh
Oh well, fingers crossed its a cheap day out

Anyway, my Vec has a clean bill of health and here's the best bit...FOC

The DMF rattle is not deemed to be bad enough to fork out on yet either

Ous s having a tech 2 session this afternoon too, last time it was on one it had no engine fault codes which it should of. This time the light is on so wonder wat it will bring up!!

Hi Guys, maybe see you then ! Mine is the willow green estate, prob parked outside by now.
The Tech2 is a real mystery tour...my engine & spanner light had been on for a good month and now its 'no fault code'...
Blowed if I know, still EH at Saltash are reasonable people, worth the 9 mile trip abnd £1.50 Tamar Bridge Toll fee

Ours is just going up the road otherwise it's a 50 mile round trip for us!!

Last time ours was on we cleared it before heading to spares day an we happened to bump into a friend of ours who is a very qualified vauxhall mechanic who pugged his in and there was nothing and he reckons there should of been as it the car had only been turned on and off once so it should still be there but nothing. This time it's on so fingers crossed we get something.

Mines in at vx tomorrow, got ids light, service light, traction control and eml on, cars not running fantastic, have to unplug maf for it to start, so hopefully new maf and that should be it sorted then clear my codes for me.
