Default brake calliper wind back tool

Im gonna change my rear brakes and was wondering which type of wind back tool is the one to buy for my vectra. I had one many moons ago but can not for the life of me remember what it was or where it is now.

I got a Laser one on eBay. It cost about £17.50, or thereabouts, plus P&P. I also invested in a VX-specific adaptor to fit said tool. It should index to the marks on the pistons.

Search on eBay for VX caliper piston wind back tool.

    I hope this helps.

I was told to use long nosed pliers and did. Saved myself the cost of the rewind tool.

Used long nosed pliers as well. Worth a try before buying a rewind tool.

Ditto, I bought a rewind tool but the adapter was the wrong size. Used long nosed pliers to twist and push and it was just fine. Did my rear discs and pads which I got as a set from autovaux which I thought was a good deal for £60 all inc.

PS: the How2 gives good gen on fitting the pads although you need to remove the calipers too to fit the discs.

I have done rear discs that way before, which is why I took the plunge and bought the correct tool.
