Get some laptop LCD screen cleaner or isopropanol alcohol cleaner but go easy.
Is that otherwisw known as rubbing alcohol ?
Yes but be careful not to damage the LCD as the stuff used for laptop screens etc is not very strong.
dude be extra carefull,,,i used them satnav wipes from halfords on my twintop,,and it removed the purple/blue finish on the screen,,i was not happy,,,,,now i wont use anything on the screens just a microfibre cloth
oooh,,doesnt sound good,,,,does it look like there is fine scratch like marks,as that was how mine went,,cause the more i tried to wipe it away, the more purple disapeared,,didnt realise at first,,then it was too late,,so i had to remove all the purple so it didnt stand out,,,was annoying when the sun reflected off it,,
No - it just has a dull "haze" on it, with like, wipey marks in it....
I had this problem on my wifes Insignia..... looked almost greasy and whatever i used it didnt make it much better, more obvious when screen was off.
I washed it last night and the exterior is very good since we had it machine polished so the only thing spoiling it was the nav screen... bit the bullet and used some glas cleaner i got from Sainsburys, "Method" its called, blue liquid, anyway its got it 95% better, still a few tiny marks round the edge (was getting dark when i did it) but the haze has gone!
I sprayed it on to a microfibre cloth and gently rubbed the screen, looks good!
