Spare Wheel?

Hi, dont know whether you guys can help? I have a SRI CDTI Facelift with standard alloys, i am thinking of buying some 19" alloys, all i need to know is will i still be able to use the spare wheel? sorry if this is a stupid question. Cheers.

Yep, as the overall diameter of the wheel/tyre will be close to your original wheels

i got rid of mine and bought a 19" spare.......cos it dont half look stupid driving around with a space saver

Good idea to replace it with a proper wheel. I have a 17" spare for my car, although the wheels are 19". Anything's better than the standard doughnut.

At least yours has a spare, there isn't one in mine!
VX did a small batch without spare wheels, instead I have a storage box and screwdriver; how useful

Just wanted to see if you replaced the space saver in the boot for the full size. Don't it raise the boot carpet up.
I've just managed to pick up a spare GSi alloy and tyre off of ebay for a bargain £7.50

with a 19" it raises it a little ..but i can put up with that
