google streetview now in 3D

has anyone else notice that streetview is now 3D - just getting some directions for a trip tomorrow for another ebay purchase (shhh dont ask

)

and noticed the face now has glasses on its head - click and voila - 3d view

I was on guard duty the other week in Windsor and the Google car drove past lol... A pole covered in Cameras on the roof lol. I'm gonna google myself lol.

Because I only have 50% vision in my left eye, 3D doesn't work for me.

So in the future are we all gonna have to carry 3d glasses with us anytime we want to watch tv/look at the net? How long before 3d digital cameras come out?

If I were 3d I may stuggle to fit on a comp screen lol

Did anyone see paycheque with Ben Affleck? I think its a prelude to the 3D stuff he designed, soon enough we'll be able to walk through a virtual google street view.
