Are you fitting the NCDC2013 to a full can vehicle, ? or

Are you fitting a different Full Can radio in-place of the NCDC2013.?

If you are fitting NCDC20013 to Full Can vehicle...which I assume yours is, as it has a CDTi engine, then you will need an SOT type lead, often used for telemute functions.
The one you require will be for an Omega B, Late Vectra-B or Early Vectra-C. It will have the ISO plug that will match the blue one in your photograph, however you will have to take your illumination and ignition logic functions from the car, and not rely upon the canbus system. You will need to make up your own conversion lead, by converting the SOT cable.

If you are going the other way, say fitting a CD70 in place of a NCDC2013, then you will need the later type SOT lead, with the quadlock connectors fitted.

Which ever way you are going, you will also need aerial plug adapters, which are easily available from car shops and ebay.

Hi mate.. its been done serveral times on www.vectra-c.be theres memberes there that have done it..

you either need to rewire your current ISO plug to the new Fakra plug, or get a adaptor that will work instead.

But you will loose your Board Computer and check control as you wont be abel to control that anylonger..

    Hi everyone,

I'm new at the forum, so sorry in advance if I ask something that's been mentioned here earlier.
Just to be clear; if I'm trying to replace an existing NCDC 2013 (half can bus) navi with a newer, full can bus CD70 in a 2003 year Vectra C, there is no any way to use the board computer and the check control system? Are these going to loose for good?

To be honest, this ye old NCDC 2013 would be fine for me, but unfortunatelly the Navteq does not support the system with Central Europe, especially Hungary map CD...

    Many thanks!

    IT can be done..

    You will need

    CD70
    Facelift CID
    convert ISO to fakra
RGB wire from radio to screen.
    satnav arieal

If you have ECC you will need facelift ECC panel
I think you will need new CIM/steeringwheel if the control is going to work.

New CID or GID screen >2005
    New ECC controls >2005
    Convert ISO to Fakra
    http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9...dcacd70ww4.png
    http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/8770/radiosopel.jpg

New steering whell 2005 or >2006 steering wheel + airbag
If the CIM is 0x015 id code can be programmed.

CIM id 0x009 and 0x00F need changue the CIM (0x00F the horn sounds continuously if it are programmed)

In case of CD70, add RGB cable and satellite Fakra

Huh! ECC, CIM and new aerial? It sounds serious... and expensive as well.
I have to think about it a bit more. My Plan B was a universal balckbox navi, that able to use the factory made CID. But so far could'nt find a reliable one. Any idea?
