To be honest I don't find it a problem and I've owned my fair share of cars over the last 10 years (about 12!!!). - damn just realised how many, no wonder the missus is sick of me changing cars :-)
anyway if you want to try a car with naff rear visability, try a Honda civic. That's what my missus drives and when she ordered it there was one option at the top of her list - parking sensors!
My insignia has parking sensors but they weren't working for the last few weeks. It didn't cause me any problems and trust me I am a person who normally needs them - it's something I've made sure I've had for the last 4 cars.....
Well it has already been mentioned in another thread about me driving coaches and not being able to see naff all out the rear anyway lol. Luckily parking is one of my stronger points so shouldn't be too much of an issue. Thanks for that.
I don't find it any less restrictive than my last Signum.
It's not the best but you do get used to it.
Not a problem to me and as an ex HGV driver in my past life,i do use my mirrors a lot.
That's me from driving landrovers with no back windows, use the wing mirrors alot more than the rear view.
