    Default Rear Wheel Alignment

    Hi All,

I noticed today that there's quite a bad Negative Camber on the rear wheels of my Vec!

Does anyone know what could cause this as its only 1 year old? - And how much will it cost to fix?

By negative camber I mean like this viewing from the rear:

    Any advice appreciated!

    Thanks,

A little negative camber is right on the Vec, but it shouldn't be too much.

I had a full four wheel alignment done on my car yesterday, cost me £58 as I needed adjustments on both axles. My local place that has the four wheel aligment machine does the check for free and charges £29 per axle for any adjustments. Well worth getting done if you're not sure it's right. I did mine because I'd lowered the car last week which affects the geometry quite badly.

Edit: just checked the print out I got given with mine and the recommended angle for the rear camber is -2.12 degrees per wheel with a toe angle of +1.8mm per wheel.

The front should be -1.03 degrees per wheel camber and 0mm toe.

i dont know if this is what i need but when im doing 30mph the car dont seem smooth its as if the road is bumpy all the time even at 70 its the same, ive had my shocks and upper control arms done but does the car need to have this done once they have been done? or does this sound like tracking?

    Default

You have an SRI, so it should have a negative camber of about -2'36 +/-15
If in doubt, get the tyres to the correct pressure and take it to an outlet with Hunters geometry equipment
Cost you between £50 and £80, well worth it
