Your views please

Hi all,
Currently looking for a used Vectra, as some of you may have seen earlier in the forum.
I have seen a nice 1.8sri (07, 32k) up for 8k.
I know we all pay extra for the privilege of buying from a main stealer, but don't you think this is well over priced?
The car is in good condition, a few light surface scratches here and there but nowt serious. The tyres look expensive though !! and they are all fairly low.

My question is, do you think its a fair price? or too much? £500 ott from a dealership in my opinion.

Main worry is clutch judder. Do they suffer from it?

I paid £6500 for a 2.2 SRI Nav 2007, 31k on the clock and that was from a dealer.

sounds overpriced compared to what i paid for mine, i paid less than 8k for a 11month old 1.9cdti 150horses sri, with18k on the clock and that was a year ago last jan

Double doh !!

They said the reason they are so much, is because the bottom has fallen out of the new car market. Therefore, more people are buying used.

Just noticed an 07 sri XP nav for the same price in Leicester, but with only 18k on the clock. My initials on the plate too

The veccy prices have gone back up recently... bloke at stealers told me its cus a lot of people aren't happy with economy/performance of the insignia and going back to the c.
