    Default Cdti oil in manifold

Ok after replacing the inlet manifold on my cdti i have set about trying to locate where the oil was coming from that enters the inlet system and trying to eliminate the restart up of the gunk saga, Im sure our problems are 1' hot dry sooty gases from the EGR enter the manifold and 2' are mixing with an oily/air mix coming in right next door via the throttle body!, pretty obvious realy, so aswell as putting in the fiat semi blanking gasket i set about tracing where the oil was coming from (pretty sure ALL cdti's get this ) i have found that oily resadue is being sucked in to the air system from the oil seperator along this route pointed out!, Now to find a way how to stop this any ideas ??.

I did think that but the small pipe pointed out goes into the larger intake one giving a sucking action so wouldn't be sure where to put one, think i would have to intercept that small pipe and do a divert via an oil catcher, daft really cos that,s what the standard oil separator should do!, how about cutting into the pipe and (rough guide only) reconnecting back into the same one again here ish.

Someone installed a catch tank only a week or two ago but I can't find the thread, I think it was at the end of one about the EGR

Ill have a look now!, bit annoying really cos they all have an oil separator but it obviously ain't good enough!, I also took of the fat pipe going into the throttle body and found that it was ''SLIGHTLY'' crusty as well as oily!.

Ok shrimpy! had a look at the thread and to be honest i remember reading it the other day!, I was thinking of leaving the pipe that comes from the oil filler area where it is (light blue arrow) as you have, And doing the same with the red arrowed one as you have, i obviously want 1 in and 1 out but cant see where you have done that, So is it possible to use the port arrowed yellow and have red in and yellow out ?, I would take this and join it shown in the last pic. What do you think ?, i believe it would still need the one going to to air filter pipe to give the vacum to the engine breathing system ?
