    Default vibration on idle

    hi im sometimes getting a very slight vibrating or judder when the car is on idle and when its warm its fine when i drive it and its fine when ive got the clutch pressed in. only on neutral any ideas, 3rd injector just been done

    hi my 2.0dti is the same on idle has been diagnosed.as the dmf my quote was 820 pounds,a common problem.

    sounds a lot like the DMF mate, your looking at quite a high repair bill for it, i got the parts and did it myself but still cost me around £500

    no iyl rule out the dmf coz my local garage who do alot of work on the modern diesels and dmf's had a look an told me that if it was dmf it would be loud and alot of vibration even when driving mines only slight... put it this way my passingers wont notice this its only me coz im init could be the egr but again the car drives 100% over the month ive owned it its been 2 london, birmingham, manchester, scotland hastle free.... no wuries iyl live with it till it dies... thanks

    my local repar shop will do me a clutch and flywheel around £400 + £120 labour

    my advice to the dti lads is if your dmf is on its way get it done asap as when they get really bad the vibration down the crankshaft causes it to snap ive now changed 3 engines all down to dmf going making crank snap.
