    Default Foggy fog lamp

Can any one advise if a misted up fog lamp is fixable under warranty?

I have tried to burn it of the lense by driving (illegally at times) to see if this would shift it but it does not move!

The car is only around 7 months old and it looks **** with one clear and one fogged up lense.

it is a known VX warranty issue mate, but they'll only change it if it doesn't burn off the condensation after 20 mins of being on..a bit poor if you ask me ...

I had this on mine, when I checked, I hadn't quite fitted cover correctly and some water was sat in bottom of cover. Not had this since.

My car had this when I first bought it - I asked them to rectify it before I collected it (no idea whether they replaced it or just wiped the lens, suspect the latter!). Couple of weeks afterwards it misted up again but after using the lamps a few times over the first autumn/winter it's never reappeared.

I've seen plenty of other Vectra Cs with one misted up light however so I guess it's a common problem. If it's only 7 months old I'd asked a Vauxhall dealer to sort it for you

I solved my problem by wiping the fog out with a badger and getting a new one! That taught it a lesson it won't forget.

    Default Fog Lamps

Spoke to my stealer today and they are not interested, not even as a favour to me etc.

I have now sent a letter to Vauxhall "customer care" department for their views on this. Typical they have the dosh and now do not want to know

I thank you all for your replies etc and will inform you all of my answer from Vauxhall.

Thumbs down I have joined the `foogy' club too

Nov 2005 Signum - N/S foglight now fogged up. Quite a bit of water inside .. There seems to be some sort of vent arrangement on the back ??
