Default Big black pipes on 2.0dti

Hi does anybody know the big black pipe that comes of the either intercooler or radiator (aint sure which one it is but the front one) its a U shaped pipe behind the drivers side fog light. I think it connects to the turbo. Does this pipe containe any liquids as i think i might have a split in it and want to take it off to have a look and change it if so.

If it's connected to the intercooler, it's the boost pipe... it may have a trace of oil in it but not liquid, these are prone to splitting & you will get a lack of power & excess smoke if it has split.

get someone to hold the revs at about 2.5k while you check to see if it's blowing

Intercooler hoses contain air, and maybe a very small amount of oil.

If it is blown you can get silicon replacements from ebay. Vx will want to sell you a full set
