    Default Doing my head in.

Can anyone help. I had 2 broken suspension springs on the front, just replaced them 3 hours ago but getting this really bad metal to metal knocking noise from the drivers side (was there before the replaced the springs) it only happens when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, the faster i go the noise goes away. Just went out and had a look at the shock absorber and when turning the wheel it looks as if the shocky is slipping when the spring is compressing (if you know what i mean) could my shocky be broken ?. I did test the shocky when it was out and it was working fine, the anti roll bar bushes have no play in them at all. Please help.

ARB drop links, radiator mounts? Both of these are common for knocking noises, especially on pre-facelift veccys
