Does anybody know if it's possible to enable the BC controls and stalk with Vaux.Com, and which module should I be looking at.
Thanks

With the proper vaux-com, yes (not the chinese copies on fleabay tho).
It's the variant coding of the CIM and DIS that needs changing, and possibly the code index of the DIS as well.
If you have a suitable (official / proper) version of Vaux-Com, Op-Com or Tech 2, then all of these will be able to re-program the code indexes and Variant variables.
The items to reprogram are indeed the CIM module, and the DISplay module.
remeber to back up the original settings, in-case you reprogram something wrong, and get in a bit of a pickle.
In the wrong hands, you can do more harm than good...especially after you have entered any security codes.
Unless you are confident that you know what you are doing, then entrust this to someone who does know what to do.
(this usually rules out most Vauxhall dealership technicians )
What display do you have? Pic would be good, part number even better
(part number will be shown in the diagnostics window when you connect to the DIS with vaux-com)
If you are stuck, come over and I'll give you a hand, always good to meet other vaux-com users. I know of a couple on Astra Owners Network now and we have switched on various bits and pieces for people.
Hi guys, thought i'd pop in here. Signum dek is gonna try and enable my BC so i thought i might be able to help. I just changed from TID to GID and can get you the part no from the actual unit if it helps. I'd love a 'mini meet' for a bit of Tech2ing... but please hurry.... the empty washer sensor message is killing me!!!
Do what i did and join wires together
Irmscher Insignia CDTI 130
MOD'S...Irmscher front spoiler, Irmscher mats, Irmscher door pins, Irmscher rear spoiler, Irmscher grille, Irmscher skirt & exhausts,Irmscher Roof spoiler MOD'S TO COME..Side skirts,Wheels
The "check control" option needs turning off in the UEC (underhood electrical centre) but NOT in the DIS. This way you will lose the washer fluid warnings but keep the bulb etc warnings.
Or you can just ground out the wires but I would go with the programming method myself.
