Default Bulb Failures & Front Washers Not Working

    Hi Guys,

Further to issues with my clocks not retaining settings I decided to check all of the fuses on my Veccy. All were okay except F13 however when I restarted the car a few hours later I had an indicator & foglight bulb failure. Also my front windscreen washers no longer work, the wipers don't move and no water, but the rear works fine.

I replaced fuse F13 (which incidentally Haynes states is for central control unit, 7.5A) with a 30A fuse - direct swap for the size that was in there, but still no front washers!

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, as an aside I'm sure I have headlight washers too (relevant fuse & relay, invoice for repairs following recall in the service history) but these have never worked - I'm going to bring this up with the dealer when they look at the clocks issue (also going to get the bluetooth module looked at) but I don't have the nozzles in the bumper - just what appears to be a blanking plate.

    Many Thanks

    Dan

The headlight washers are pop up, so will pop out when they need too. You can carefully pull the cover up, the spring is rather strong and you need to take car not to snap the cover, it just clips on but you can break the clips if you are not careful.

Front washers could be a blocked filter. Take out the screws on the nearside wheel arch and squeeze your hand in there and pull out the pump. clean the filter and replace by pushed solidly back it should work, if you are still getting the pump noise.
