    Default brakes help

    hi guys
have just got rear brake and disc kit from vauxhall, the rear pads are a different design to the ones fitted,so phoned vauxhall dealer where they came from and they have said these are a replacement pad design.
so whats the difference the ones fitted have a spring on the rear of the pad that slots onto the brake piston.
new ones have a spring at the top of the pad which does not fit onto brake piston.
so will these fit as vauxhall have said they will and that they replace the old design, not so sure myself, but does anybody know.
    thanks guys tommy

Isn't that the other way around to the OP's??

I just replaced mine and both had the spring at the edge rather than the back.
