    Default Repairing fibre-glass

Saw a splitter advertised at a decent price on another site, bought it and it arrived today.

It was well packed but DHL being DHL decided it would look better in 2 pieces.

Not opened it fully but it looks like a reasinably clean break. How easy is it to repair fibreglass?

Because it is in 2 pieces but not exactly in the middle, it would need to be a good repair, any views, opinions or suggestions?

i would get DHL to cover the costs of the splitter for damaging it in transit- then get it professionally repaired - only problem is that once repaired it will inevitibly be weaker on that spot unless they pack it will filler

Well, is it not up to the sender to claim from DHL?

I have asked the seller to refund the money and I will send it back. Gutted I was out when they delivered it, If I had seen it before signing it, I would have said it was damaged!

I assume a bodyshop could facilitate the repair or would it need to be a specialist?

Would it be worth asking for a metal bracket at the back to help strength or would this be par for the course?
