    Default need help badly

    alternator went on my 2004 signum 1.9cdti, had alternator rebuilt thats all working ok now but now the spanner light is up and car lacks power diagnosed with opcom and fault has come up
    P0001 - Fuel Metering Solenoid Valve Circuit Open
    (04) - Present

    what is this it wont clear at all press clear in opcom it just wont clear any ideas any one, is it someting i have unplugged and not plugged back in?

    had alternator rebuilt at garage it was the diodes' bridge, but took off and put it on myself why? the fault code before i done alternator was
    P0621 - <Unknown DTC>
    (02) - Not present

    didnt have any more codes then, did notice when i drove car to my garage the steering simble come on and steering went hard but was still driving ok just had battery light out

    try disconecting everything you undone and reconecting!, i found i had to undo this (yellow square) and move it when i replaced the alternator, dont try to clear present codes as it may not start after!, could always disconect the battery for 1/2 hour.

    steering's electric so going hard was normal. try pulling a bit of slack on everything youve disturbed ie so the cable's not pulling at the conectors (ive had this b4).

    you mean it may not of connected it properly ( you on about thing with yellow square drawn round it in your picture)

    ive had simular type fault codes with such as cam shaft sensor open circuit! and its usually been that the cable is tight or pulling at the plug. worth a try.

    just checked all the plugs etc, nothing seems loose or cable pulling tight, im lost now, nearst opel garage to me as over 200miles

    just been to check again and found 1 wire cut would this be anything to do with it the wire which is cut is white/black and other wire not cut is orange and black took some pics with mobile but not very clear have attached them not sure if will show up,
    had a romanian helping and wondered if he done this to it to F##K ME, its near where the other thing in picture
