    Default Up to 8% Bio-Diesel

Hi all. Went to fill the CDTI 150 up yesterday and noticed a sticker on the pump stating 'contains up to 8% Bio-Diesel'. Was a bit dubious but I filled up anyway, 60 litres. The car does not appear to run any differently after 200 miles. Any thoughts?

Which station did you go to? Only I look at is the price and how much its gone up since my last visit.

Would have thought it would be tested and safe though.

At the moment the limit is 5%
Refineries across the UK are preparing for the new limit of 7% and are therefore supplying it already
As a result the PUMP must display this notice

I've already had a few people complain, "My car won't run on bio-diesel, where can I get ordinary diesel?"
Well, not in Scotland you won't now!

    The diesel still meets BS:EN590
However, even the handbook in my car CLEARLY states, do NOT use bio-diesel
I do have letters from both Vauxhall and BP, that the current diesel is suitable for use in my car and as VX say "will not cause any damage to the fuel system"
