    Default Vauxhall parking sensors

My '53' elegance has vauxhall parking sensors fitted, when reverse is selected I get a beep and a P on the dash to say the sensors are on but I dont get a tone or anything to aid me in my parking. I have owned the car now for a year and they have never worked while I have had the car im not sure if they worked before, any help would be mega helpfull

    Thanx Liam
