Default vectra c indicator fault please help

    Hi
I have a 2003 vectra 2.2 sri and last night I notice the osf indicator was staying on but not the side repeater or the rear indicator have replaced the bulb and cleaned all the connectors but still it stays on if I put the hazards on the bulb just goes brighter and dim but won’t go off now I have disconnected the bulb, everything else is working ok can you please help.

    Thanks

    Danny

1st read the manual The vec uses another bulb/lamp if one fails. Double check the side light on the side that your indicator is staying on. Odds on its gone or the connection is bad.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

You sure you've not got a blown sidelight bulb... the indicator comes on to take over the job until the sidelight is replaced.

If it stays on it thinks the side light - the small 5w lamp - has failed. Try changing these again.

You didn't fit led's in there did you?

Right, if the car thinks the side light has blown it uses the indicator in its place. Double and triple check the side light lamps. Change them anyway - just in case.

Edit: you fitted new indicator or side light bulbs?
