    Default Another Exhaust?

I am thinking about getting another exhaust for my 2.0 Turbo. At the moment I have a PowerFlow cat back system with a middle silencer (Standard system never had a silencer on it). I am thinking about getting a blueflame exhaust, it must be better than a PowerFlow one? This is the one I have my eye on below. Also does my car have 2 cats? If so I fancy the "VECTRA C 2.0 TURBO 2002 - 2008 DE CAT PIPE (2ND CAT)" they do for £150. The exhaust in the picture is £425

That has a centre silencer does it not..?

Turbo cars are generally quieter than non anyway, so you would have been fine without the centre box to start with.

Does that picture have a new down pipe with it? It has more parts than the one I bought for my car. The middle box looks alot smaller thant he one I have now.

No, the car will just go into limp mode if you de cat it, its only the oil burners that you can do a full de cat on. However on the V6 petrol's you can take the main cat out and just run on the 2 pre cats and everything is fine, passes MOT and no limp mode.

I de-catted my 2.5 after mot (no precats) and made a nice difference & sounded different..

Does the z20net have a sensor in the cat then?? Wot about the de-cat pipe that mark posted up for 150?? will that not have a bit to house the sensor??

I was planning on a full system, but wanted it de-catted...

Mark did you get the centre section fitted at the time of fitting the new exhaust or was it an add on due to noise? The reason i ask is, your back box's look bigger than mine from your picture, IMHO the cheap option £30-50 would be to get the centre section removed and it might not be tooooo loud

I like the look of the blueflame exhaust - JB how does it sound on your car fella??
