    Default EDS Remap for V6CDTI

Does anyone here run the EDS map on their V6 CDTi 177PS? I'm very tempted but I know I shouldn't be

I know a guy who's in contact with the guys at EDS in Germany and he keeps telling me the remap is safe.

They do one for the 2.2dti and you "can't remap them" lol

I would go for it mate as they are a pretty big name in VX tuning

they can be remapped but it isnt wise as it can cause problems with the pump

Unless they guarantee they'll pay for the new pump replacement I wouldn't bother.. Shame though as it would be a great upgrade...

I know the can be re-mapped thats why i used the inverted comma's

The only problem with a 2.2dti re-map is that the map is on the ecu which is part of the pump. If the pump blows then so does your re-map, thats why I stick to the good old box

Torquing BHP (see approved traders) have done them for V6 diesel Vectra members, but I don't think that they were the 'balls-out' 220+ bhp, 380ft/lbs remaps that others have tried (and failed with).
