Kitchen laminate worktop water ingress

Hi guys
Need some help please.
At home we've evidently had some water get down between a joint in the laminate worktop and has started to lift/bubble slightly either side. Short of having the whole tops replaced, is there anyway of repairing it?
As a short to medium term solution to stop it getting worse should I run a bit of silicon over it?

In a word....nope...the interior of the surface is basically like weetabix...been there/complained to ikea n got replacements...

as said once water gets in they will only get worse............silicon,if there is a gap in the joint ....but eventually it is new worktops i'm afraid

yoo can try and remove the moisture with a tea towel and an iron over the top = but dependant on the laminate finish and its temp resistance if you over do it you will do more damage than good....

as said a sealant and then pop something over the top to cover it up
