Thread: advice on runnin cable from boot pls

    Default advice on runnin cable from boot pls

    I want to run a live cable from the boot to the rear cig socket...

    but not having worked on the back of the car yet i dont know how to get to under the rear seat and under the carpet to feed the cable.. any advice would b appreciated

    Ive run mine on the "passenger" side (on RHD).. and the to the front seat.. and then acros to the rear lighter socket.. ive just taped it up in black tape so you couldnt see the red/black wires ive used..

    Ive run a live feed straight from the bty into the boot was straight forward and the wiring is hidden under the trim so no visible wires.

    There is a how 2 for retro fitting a travel assistant and it's wiring loom from the REC (rear fuse box).

    Similar to what you want...hope it helps.
