    Default after a good polish

    hi guys,my vec needs a good clean,its got a few scratches etc but nothing to bad,any ideas to make it sparkle i dont want to spend a fortune on it,its metro blue by the way,cheers

    Autoglym SRP mate (super resin polish) i would clay your car first then use some SRP then use a good wax like collinite 915

    or buy yourself a machine polisher

    everybody uses clay,please enlighten me,what is it,how much,is it a trip to halfords for it all,or is ebay cheaper

    Meggies paint cleaner, i would use before the claying, this deals with quite harsh scratches..

    Before my health probs, I used to wash, then colour polish (to hide any scratches) then use Meguiars Gold, throw the duster on any flat surface after and it just slides off the car.
    Never used Clay either but keep hearing about it, had a decent selection at Halfords.

    i used to use some great polish that matched the colour of ya car,i forgot what it was called,but you had to get the closest match to your colour,plus like you said grumpy it did hide the lightish scratches

    That was just what i needed - ive bought clay but dont really know how to use it - I just know im going to drop it !!

    smurfy are u thinking of colour magic i used that a few times it did hide a few marks
