    Default Quick question.

Guys i'm planning to change my standard stereo to an aftermarket one. I want the steering remote working. So, what do i need to buy(eg. iso adapters etc.) to make it work. I did it to my astra g with all the iso harnesses before but am not so sure if it's the same a the veccy c's. And what's the best unit to buy. And does the MFD still works as mormal?

One more question. If i want to fit the standard stereo back into the car, do i need a car pass as it might ask for the radio code. If so, where can i get one as when i got the car from the dealer they did'nt provide me the owner's manual and car pass they said it got lost.

    Thanks in advance.

your car is full Canbus so the code is not required for re-fitting...

if you get the vx single din facia it comes with a quad lock for a straight plug and play, for remotes to still work, i brought a SONY interface for my SONY head unit, a little more cost wise than the autolead's one but made for use with there range so i thought it was worth the extra cost...

Hi, I have just bought a Sony Audio unit for my 07 CDTi SRi, where can I get the Sony interface from so that the remote audio controls work on the steering wheel? Is it a straightforward fit?

I have also ordered te single din facia, what is the Quad Lock?

    Thanks, Rob
